Celebrate and Learn about Día de los Muertos

Part of diversity and inclusion is to learn about various cultural traditions!
November 1st marks Día de los Muertos, or the Day of the Dead, which is a holiday that originated from Indigenous (Aztec) traditions and is currently celebrated in various Latin American countries and across many of Latinx heritage.

This holiday is used as a chance to remember and celebrate family and friends who have died. While the dates of the holiday coincide with the Halloween holiday, it is not viewed as spooky in any way.

Here are some great reads that you can use to guide your learning as a family!
